The community corrections program on Lamar was closed after it flooded with raw sewage and the clients were forced to clean it up with no safety gear. Some of the clients contracted hepatitis after the incident. And nothing was done. The C.C clients are treated with disrespect, and are often threatened to go back to jail, when they question the staff about the way they are treated. CAAP program cares about government grants and that's all. If the CAAP community corrections program manager often belittles and talks down to the clients. When clients mentions reporting her, she responds with "I have been running this program for years. Do what you want to do. I'm going home at the end of the day" The clients are being housed at the Knight Arnold location. They have 4 rooms with 3 beds in each room, and one toilet for 12 women. It's not right for the women to be treated this way.
